Empowering women to address their unique health concerns through all stages of life

Too many women are absolutely dreading their period every month

They feel out of control and crazy half the month, and experience breast tenderness, bloating, painful cramps, and night sweats the other half. Many women also experience irregular cycles, PCOS, and other types of hormone imbalances that leave them confused and frustrated with their body.

At the other end of the spectrum, as women enter their 40s, their hormones fluctuate greatly, and perimenopause and menopause symptoms start to take over, like hot flashes, low sex drive, weight gain, mood swings, brain fog, and insomnia.

Most women have come to believe that all of  these symptoms are an inevitable part of being a woman.

But they don't have to be!

Whether you want to explore Naturopathic Medicine - or work with our Nurse Practitioner utilizing BHRT - we have the expertise, experience, care, and support you need to achieve and maintain your best health.

HORMONAL HEALTH

Hormones are chemical messengers that ‘speak’ to different systems in the body that control bodily functions and processes. Some of the main hormonal functions include growth and development, metabolism, sexual function and reproductive health, cognitive function and mood and maintenance of body temperature and thirst.

Like most systems in the body, the endocrine system works to maintain tight control over the levels of hormones being released. A slight imbalance in certain hormones can lead to widespread health concerns.

It is important to have proper lab testing to assess hormone levels as many hormones work together and can have similar symptom patterns.

    • Changes in appetite

    • Digestive issues

    • Infertility

    • Irregular periods

    • Low energy

    • Low libido

    • PMS

    • Skin Issues

    • Thinning of hair or hair loss

    • Trouble sleeping

    • Unexplained weight gain

HORMONE TESTING

Millions of women suffer from hormone imbalances. It can present as menopause, weight gain, fatigue, low libido, premenstrual symptoms (PMS), mood swings, or depression. Our doctors are able to treat the root cause of what you’re experiencing, but only with proper detection.

We utilize hormone testing to optimize hormone health and address hormone-related symptoms such as fatigue, weight gain, hair loss, and mood swings.

Our testing maps the progesterone and estrogen pattern throughout the menstrual cycle. It provides the full picture of a woman’s cycle to answer important questions for patients with month-long symptoms, infertility, and PCOS. Nine targeted estrogen and progesterone measurements are taken throughout the cycle to identify the follicular, ovulatory, and luteal phases.

Menstrual health is so much more than the one week each month that we get our period. That is only one piece of an amazingly complex cycle orchestrated by our endocrine system. Our cycles create continuous change within the body and they can tell us a lot about what is happening on a deeper level. We can offer many tools that can be used to help regulate your cycle and address specific reproductive health concerns.
