About Dr. Lori Mae

(she/her)

I have always had a passion for plants & nutrition, and dreamed of ways to incorporate these interests with medical expertise. Discovering Naturopathic Medicine connected these areas of health and further solidified my dream of bringing a more preventative, comprehensive and holistic approach of healing to others around me.

My passion is in Environmental Medicine.

This focuses on the impact of environmental toxins or pollutants on our health and the short & long term impacts. I work to minimize exposures and support natural detoxification processes to increase the excretion of these toxic “body burdens” that can accumulate over time. Immune, hormonal and neurological systems are often most notably impacted when dealing with chemical body burdens and sensitivities.

In addition to Environmental Medicine, I also have a special interest in gastrointestinal, hormone, immune and neurological health and uncovering the missing pieces that contribute to new and chronic health concerns.

A busy mom of 3 you can find my cooking, seeking time in water & nature (summer and winter!), coaching my kids’ sports teams, enjoying music, learning new things, and spending time with my family.
